How To Use Internet in your mobile :
This involves to main steps - One is registering or subscribing to the service and the other is configuring the handset.
Step1: Activating GPRS/MMS in your SIM
You can subscribe to BSNL GPRS/EDGE service by sending SMS from your mobile as given below:-

• Prepaid:
  To activate Send SMS GPRSPRE to 53733
  Charges: Rent - Nil; Usage Charges Rs. 0.01 per 10kB;
  Note: Minimum balance of Rs.200/- required for activation. Service will be temporarily blocked if balance falls below Rs.50/-
• Postpaid: In postpaid there are 3 GPRS/EDGE plans - they are Option1, Option2 and Option3 as given below:-
  Option1: Rent Rs. 49/-per month; Usage Charges Rs. 0.01 per 10kB.
  Free Usage 5MB/Month;
  To activate, Send SMS GPRS49 to 53733
  Option2: Rent Rs. 199/-per month; Usage Charges Nil
  To activate, Send SMS GPRS199 to 53733
  Option3:Rent - Nil; Usage Charges : Rs. 0.02 per kB;
  To activate, Send SMS GPRSRF to 53733

GPRS Usage Charges while Roaming : Rs. 0.05/10kB for all GPRS options

Step2: Configuring your handset to access the services
In this step you configure your mobile set with parameters supplied by BSNL for internet Access
To automatically configure your handset, Send Handset Model to 58355 by SMS in the following format: MAKE MODEL NUMBER
Eg. NOKIA 6600; SAMSUNG SGH-D800; MOTOROLA A1200 etc

To Deactivate, Send SMS GPRSD to 53733;

Note: For GPRS plan change, first deactivate existing GPRS plan and then activate new plan by sending SMS to 53733.

These Settings are used for accessing internet through PC, Laptop or Mobile(http enabled mobile browsers)

Migration Procedure from Existing 2G prepaid plan to 3G general 120 through SMS

Step-1
Customer to send the keyword M3G120 to 53733
Step-2
Customer will get a reply SMS as below. “Your Request for 3G conversion received .Conversion back to 2G later will be only to Prepaid General plan. To confirm migration please send M3G120Y to 53733 BSNL MOBILE”
Step-3
If agreeable customer has to send the confirmation SMS M3G120Y to 53733
Step-4
After provisioning the 3G service, Customer will be intimated through a reply SMS stating the successful migration to 3G.


To get Promotional 3G - 120 tariff for the migrated customers, Recharge for Rs. 98(Incl. of Tax) Through C-TopUP (Flexi)
